Care Philosophy: I like to make sure my patients are educated to make their own decisions but at the same to be their guide though a tricky health care system. I have a very laid-back demeanor but take my patients health and concerns very seriously. I have a philosophy of "lowest effective dose" when it comes to medications and treatments to make sure I am treating my patient's symptoms/concerns without causing unnecessary side effects that can sometimes be more dangerous than the original concern.

Biography: Dr. Peter Cobb has been a physician with TriStar Health since 1999 and in practice for more than twenty years. Dr. Cobb earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine before completing both an internship and residency at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Cobb is an active member of his church and enjoys playing golf, soccer and softball when he is not practicing medicine. He and his wife have three children and are happy to serve the Murfreesboro community.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Donald Spisak, DO is board certified in family medicine and has been practicing medicine since 1996. He accepts and enjoys treating patients of all ages. From minor complaints like a rash or ankle sprain to more complex problems such as heart disease, diabetes or psychiatric illnesses, he and his professional staff are available to meet all of your health related needs. Dr. Spisak is a DO, and as such, he takes great pride in practicing the philosophy that is the very foundation of osteopathic medicine. He will work with you to establish a health plan that addresses your particular medical problems with the attention and up-to-date care you deserve. Dr. Spisak is very happy to be serving the Goodlettsville and surrounding communities.

Biography: Dr. Laura Born is a board certified family practice physician with over twenty four years of clinical experience caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Born is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, she completed her family practice residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.

Biography: Dr. Schweitzer received her osteopathic medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internship and residency training at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL. She has been practicing family medicine for 13 years, and joined TriStar in 2013. She is board certified in Family Medicine with the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice. Dr. Schweitzer and her husband reside in Franklin with their three children.
