Biography: Dr. Paddock received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in 2017. Biography: Dr. Grace Sun is the Director of the Ophthalmology Clinical Practice at Weill Cornell Medicine - Lower Manhattan, an Associate Attending Ophthalmologist at Weill Cornell Medicine and Assistant Attending Ophthalmologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Sun graduated from Stanford University, with Honors. She later received her M.D. from Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where she was awarded the Edward Norton Prize in Ophthalmology. Biography: Dr. Heinze earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he graduated with Distinction in Medical Education. His commendable work included developing and implementing programs to support students from communities traditionally underrepresented in medicine to pursue medical careers. He then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Chicago Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary (IEEI). During his residency he was selected to serve as chief resident and nominated by his peers to receive the departmental Resident Education Award. He further specialized with a two-year fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at IEEI, accredited by the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her medical degree with the Alpha Omega Alpha honor distinction from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. Following two years of training in general surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Sippel completed ophthalmology residency training at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. Biography: Dr. Levy is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and the Director of the Pediatric Ophthalmology service at Weill Cornell Medicine and a member of the Weill Cornell Ophthalmology Department.After graduating from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and New York University. He completed fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology, at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and then pediatric ophthalmology, at Children's Hospital Boston.Before returning to New York, he was a Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and on the staff at Children's Hospital Boston, where he was also the director of residency training for the ophthalmology department.Dr. Levy sees children of all ages and adults with strabismus.

D'Amico, MD, Professor and Chair of the Israel Englander Department of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Ophthalmologist-in-Chief at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, is an internationally recognized leader in the field of vitreoretinal surgery. He assumed the Chair at Weill Cornell in 2006 after his longstanding positions at Harvard Medical School as Professor of Ophthalmology, and as Associate Chief of Ophthalmology and Director of the Diabetic Unit at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Illinois College of Medicine, he completed his residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami, followed by selection as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary prior to joining the Harvard faculty.Dr. D'Amico has published over 175 articles on vitreoretinal diseases and has co-edited two books covering comprehensive retinal themes. He is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, specializing in the evaluation and treatment glaucoma, including medical management, laser, and surgical procedures. He also performs cataract surgery and is up-to-date on the latest advances in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).A native New Yorker, Dr. Petrakos graduated from Stony Brook University before attending the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. Biography: Grace Y. Wang, OD, attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA, graduating with honors in Biochemistry. She was an accomplished researcher in various fields, including HIV, Cutaneous Biology and Reproductive Biology. After a few years of research to solidify her biophysiology knowledge, she attended State University of New York College of Optometry to pursue her dream of helping people with medical needs. She was awarded with Scholarship for Humanity for her excellence in optometric study. After receiving her doctoral degree in optometry, she extended her optometric training by completing residency program in Ocular Disease, where she gained experiences in various areas of ophthalmology, including Laser vision correction management, cataract co-management, contact lens fitting, glaucoma diagnosis and management, retinal diseases, neuro-ophthalmology, and cornea and anterior segment pathology.After completing her residency training, Dr. Wang worked at a cornea specialty practice at New York EYE and EAR Infirmary. She received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. from SUNY Downstate, graduating with the distinct honor of Summa Cum Laude.Dr. Rafla-Demetrious did her medical internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in N.Y.C, New York. Thereafter, she began her Ophthalmology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City in 1994. She then remained there to continue her Fellowship in Glaucoma. Upon completion, she joined the Department of Ophthalmology at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in 2000.Dr. Rafla-Demetrious's clinical practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and anterior segment diseases.Dr. Rafla Demetrious received honors from the Alpha Omega Alpha (AA) in 1991.
