Biography: Dr. Hermos is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After a brief stint as a ski instructor, Dr. Hermos received her Master's degree in Education at The University of Colorado, Boulder. She was a classroom teacher in Denver for several years before moving to New York in 2000. Dr. Hermos worked in the non-profit sector before deciding to study medicine. Dr. Hermos attended medical school and trained in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She has now been practicing primary care in New York City since completing her residency in 2013.

Care Philosophy: Before joining the staff of Weill Cornell Medical Associates, Dr. Smerd worked as a primary care doctor at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital and at Odyssey House, a therapeutic drug community in Spanish Harlem. She was named chief resident after completing her medical residency at New York University. Dr. Smerd studied medicine at the Sackler School of Medicine/NY State program in Tel Aviv, Israel. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Puerto Rico, while also receiving scholarships for academic honors and competitive Olympic Weightlifting.She moved to The Netherlands where she earned a Master of Science degree at Wageningen University with a thesis on women's engagement in physical activities.Dr. Rosado moved to New York City to obtain a doctoral degree in Applied Physiology at Columbia University, while also working as a personal trainer and continuing to compete at an elite level in Olympic Weightlifting representing New York State at national meets.Her post-doctoral work, which included several peer reviewed publications in medical journals, was completed at the Center of Excellence for the Medical Consequences of Spinal Cord Injury at the Bronx VA Medical Center and was focused on improving the lives of persons with spinal cord injury.Dr. Rosado obtained a Medical Degree at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and had the honor to deliver the Valedictorian speech.Upon graduation, she returned to New York City to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Her areas of clinical interests include women's health and weight management.In her leisure the good doctor enjoys reading, cycling and spending quality time with good friends.

Biography: Dr. Mulhern received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She then went on to study animal behavior and ecology at the University of California at Berkeley where she completed a Masters degree. She returned to the east coast to the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where she received her MD degree. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, in 1998, and has been working as a general internist in Manhattan since completion of her training.

Biography: Dr. Eugene Yoon completed his undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University, where he double-majored in Biology and Anthropology as part of his premedical education. He continued his medical training at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Yoon pursued a Family Medicine residency at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he further developed his clinical skills and passion for comprehensive patient care. Dr. Yoon has particular interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and hospital management.
